I just find it hard to fathom that a fresh graduate, who hardly has any substantial working experience in the corporate world, can actually become a 'consultant'! Razz There's hardly any gravity in what they say at all because it's like little kids teaching an adult how to write a report! Razz It's gonna be all hogwash unless the consultant has got a pretty impressive experience and resume to boast of first.

on the contrary though ... some consultancies do prefer fresh grads it seems ... especially in the tech field ... the thinking is that they are less constrained by rigid mindsets and dinosaur age practises, especially now in the area of software engineering .... there's a movement afoot to make the discipline more like engineering and less like an "art form" ... for that you'd have to get rid of the old fogeys first ... Mr. Green

an army buddy of mine was lucky enough to get picked by Boston consulting after grading from SMU ... Razz

I shall not talk about how clueless alot of people are now and how they are trying to reinvent the wheel.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes it might be a good thing but it is not always the case
